Dice Society: A Bit Clunky

The 7th video update form Dice Society, which is Joe playing a long guitar solo.
Rich shot this from lots of stupid angles, hence the look of the thing. I think I will shoot the next one myself, just so I know it's not going to look stupid.
This was about 7 minutes long originally, most of which got cut for reasons of space.

Joe and Rich are hard at work in the studio. Richard is the cameraman. There was a lot of editing and bits cut out to make this. I have been getting quite brutal with the virtual scissors, and it doesn't seem to have suffered.
Getting footage of Dice Society is a right pain these days, I often find it easier to just leave the camera with them and see what wonky stuff they come out with. This one was shot by Joe, who seems to like shooting at funny angles.
This was edited down from about 3 and a half minutes.
This is 'Marylin' from the Lloyds gig. The film for 'Just Another Day' has gone awol somewhere... but then Paul can be really funny about his singing, a couple of bum notes and the film will never see the light of day.
I've got 2 tracks left to finish from The Saving Grace's gig on the 5th of February. These are both shot from the other side of the room - the same position as 'Unbreakable'. Haven't yet decided whether either or both will be black and white or some other weird colour effect.
I also took some photos when I wasn't filming. Most of them are rubbish, but this shot of Rob Kearns came out OK once I'd fiddled about with it a bit.
'Unbreakable' by The Saving Grace. I shot them playing the same song as the Severn Cellars about 4 months previously and that time it went on for almost 10 minutes. This version is a little shorter - not least because I was changing batteries in the minidisc and missed the first 15 seconds of music.
The Saving Grace live at Lloyds 05/02/10. Quite pleased with the way this shot came out, got really close to the band, but still managed to get all 4 of them in the frame. The sound wasn't too bad considering. The minidisc was about 20 foot away on top of the fruit machine, I added a little compression and fairy dust. It sounds pretty much like it sounded to my ears at the time. Paul - the singer - was surprised when I phoned to tell him I'd finished with the movie, he didn't know i was filming it, thought I was just taking photos.
The Saving Grace playing 'Hurricane' at Lloyds in Shrewsbury on 5/02/10. I wanted to shoot closer to the band, this side of the stage turned out to be not so good - couldn't really see Mark for the PA stack. If you look closely, though, you can see his face in the mirror behind the band.
This was possibly a mistake, I was running a bit late on my lunch-break, and didn't have time to pop into the studio to film an update, so I left the camera with the band. You might think this footage is bad, you should see the stuff I had to edit out, it was terrible.
